Town Flowers, Trees, and Birds

つつじ

Town flower : Rhododendron

Rhododendrons bloom in many varieties across Kyotamba's hills,
as well as in its gardens and along roads. Rather than a single large blossoms,
these flowers bloom together in small clumps, and rely on one another's strength.

つつじ

Town tree : Gingko

Gingko trees can be found in many of Kyotamba's well-known locales.
The trees change their appearance throughout the year,
but remain steadfast throughout the changes in weather.
This strength represents something of the town of Kyotamba, as well.

つつじ

Town bird : Japanese bush warbler

Little bush warblers, also known as Japanese nightingales, are
common throughout Kyotamba, and their call is
familiar to residents as a sign that spring has come.
The bush warbler was chosen as the town bird to indicate that the town of
Kyotamba, too, is full of beautiful new life throughout the seasons.
